Named after the Elder Futhark rune Uruz.
Uruz is the rune of resilience, the empowerment of self with strength. Your mind, your body and your spirit. I believe that therapy will assist you in finding and building your inner strength and resilience.
Uruz is a very powerful rune for healing; it is very grounding and imparts strength and stability. Foundationally it is what I believe that therapy should be. Building resilience and strength to make sure that we can get back to living life to the full as the warriors we are.
Humanistic Counselling
Philosophically based on the teachings of Doctor Carl Rogers, humanistic therapy sees each client as a whole, a person with unique needs and circumstances. Your bespoke therapy will be tailored to you in a safe environment for you to explore what may be troubling you.
GSRD, LGBTQ+, the weird and the wonderful.
Uniqueness is a beautiful thing, and going against the grain of society can be difficult. I specialise in being eccentric, alternative and part of the GSRD community. My counselling room is a place to celebrate you regardless of your Gender, Sexuality and Relationship Diversity. If you are questioning, and want to explore your way of being through this potential mire, this is a comfortable and confidential space to do so.
Sex Positive
Sex and intimacy are a massive part of our everyday lives. Often a taboo, so many of us have questions to ask and feelings to explore. As a kink active, sex educator, we can talk about feelings and questions that you may have been too nervous about or felt too uncomfortable to speak about. From practical tips to working with your feelings, the space we create will give you an opportunity to find and heal your relationship with yourself.
