Meet the Therapist!
A little bit about me.
Danni Hall
Hello there, please call me Danni, I prefer to use they/them pronouns, but Iām easy and anything can go!
I am a person-centred therapist who truly believes in the holistic benefits of a relationship between client and counsellor who is here to listen. I have been part of the mental health and helping community for a long time, and a licenced therapist for over five years. I am a certified member of the BACP, I have a degree in person-centred counselling and a higher diploma in psychology.
My therapy style is warm and empathic. I offer an authentic, non-judgemental and safe space to vocalise and sit with any problems you may have. I am not, and never will be an expert on you, only you are. I can however be a touchstone for your emotional needs, and truly listen to facilitate a better relationship with yourself. When you start to reflect on yourself and accept who you are now, you can begin to change and improve the relationships around you. What is most important is feeling that you are with the right person, and we will start with getting to know each other.
Primarily I am a person-centred counsellor, but I like to borrow techniques from CBT, Gestalt, Pluralistic and other therapeutic styles.
I enjoy creativity and like to think outside the box sometimes, using techniques from music, play, drama and art therapies too.
What really matters, is what you find helpful, and we will discuss boundaries and what is right for you.
I am open to working with all people with all problems, but I specialise in relationships and sex. I am alternative, non-binary and kink-friendly and have a lifetime of being part of the LGBTQ + community.
